Mermaid Tales...

I saw her once when I was young, in the shadows of the setting sun upon the bow.   I sat to stare off along far horizons in the heavy sea air.  Her reflection was perfection in the mirror of the sea and I heard the wind echo as she spoke to me.  Her voice was fine as crystals, chimeing in the wind.  She sang to me...She stopped the time...She placed a silky hand in mine.  The great sea moaned as she slipped away.  I never can forget the day.  She slipped away, gone that day.  I never  will forget her face.
Days have passed and years have lapsed.  I looked for clues to bring her back.  I search the sea, far and wide.  I've lost my soul...I've lost my pride.
From early dawn till starlights gone, I stare into the mure and cry for her.  I smell her on the wind, I feel her in the tide.  I have a part of her beauty hidden deep inside.
There is a time between black night and cold glimmer day that I believe she comes to me.  She watches me.  She longs for me.  When I slip into an exhausted sleep, she is there.  I can feel her stare...I know her touch...her breath.  I wake up needing her more, so I head out from another distant shore.
    Always searching...

The Sea...

Do you her call to you?
She foams and moans...she beckons you.
From her darkest depths, she taunts you.
With her foamy jaws, she haunts you.
Her ebb and flow of mystery below.
Ride her high, but don't let go.
For she cries to own your soul.

Listen to the Sea...You can hear so much when you listen to the Sea.
The deafening sound of silence...
Alone, upon the glassy path with gentle licks against your hull.
Over the mounting swells, she moves you with a rhythm all its own.
